Typically, you are given a temporary license for 7 days before the revocation process is complete.

• You need to know that the license revocation process in Minnesota moves quite fast. This is why you need a Minnesota DWI lawyer as soon as possible. • If you refused to take a urine, blood, or breath test, then your license can be revoked for up to a year.

• Pending rehabilitation and treatment, your license may be canceled indefinitely if you have had 3 or more impaired driving incidents within the past 10 years, or 4 in a lifetime.

Remember that you do have rights in the revocation or cancellation of your license. Know that you may qualify for a limited driver’s license if you need to seek employment, drive to and from your job, need to attend chemical dependency treatment, to provide for the needs of your family, or to further your education.
